I met Yande in April 2022 in London while I was visiting her mom. Yande was so filled with life, energy, and joy. She was looking forward to her 18th birthday later that month and had a clear, convincing vision of becoming a film director within 10 years. The vitality and happy spirit Yande has is contagious. She is constantly smiling and looking at the bright side of situations. Mature and wise beyond her years, I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to kickoff 2025 with the brilliance of Yande.
